Tips on Search Query Construction
Basic queries: Just enter words separated by spaces, then click Search. Any pages that have all of those words in any order will appear. Letter case doesn't matter.
You don't have to use quote marks, but apostrophes won't be accepted. The search algo will attempt to find similar words (e.g., the plural form, and -ing form), so you don't have to include those variations. Search terms always must have at least 4 characters and common words (e.g., the, and, that) will be ignored.
Example: Example: searching on 'four hand reel' will find pages with the word 'hand' (only), 'four hand', 'reel' or four hand reel, etc., but not necessarily together in one phrase. It will skip pages with just the word 'four' since that's a common word. The search algo does partial word searches using asterisks. For example, searching for black* will retrieve results with 'blackthorn' in them.
